Dirk Nowitzki form Dallas Mavericks

Wow… Dirk Nowitzki is a key player to Dallas’s victory at Game 2.  Without Dirk, Dallas would have had no real chance at beating Miami.

Nowitzki has an injured finger and is still able to consistently put down shots on Miami, that is what you call determination.  All throughout the game, he was with the team and believed the team, and this is essentially what brought Dallas to be victorious.

The climax of Game 2 was at the last ten seconds of the 4th Quarter.  Miami just scored a 3-pointer which evened out the score to 93.  The ball was passed to Dirk and Chris Bosh defended him.  Dirk EASILY went through Bosh and laid it up into the basket creating a two point lead with about 3 seconds left.  This was a very tight situation for Miami and Dwayne Wade attempted to win with the last shot, but it didn’t come through, leaving the Heat with a loss at Game 2.

It is apparent that without Dirk Nowitzki, the Dallas Mavericks would have had no real chance beating Lebron James and his squad.  To me, I don’t believe that Dallas really tried to win.  Dallas had a total of over 20 turnovers and most of which Miami used to their advantage by scoring from the turnover.  If Dallas would of played a tight defense, then  I don’t believe that Miami would even be a competition.

As for Miami Heat, it is an embarrassment to the team and their head coach.  Although they beat Dallas in Game 1 by a semi-large margin, they taught Dallas that they would have to put 5x more effort, and that is what they did, which lead them to the great victory.  Considering that Dallas will be playing home at Game 3, I look forward to the victor of this next game due to all the tension and the momentum that has arisen from both of these fantastic teams.

Game 3 will be held on Sunday at 8:00 at Dallas, which gives them the home-court advantage.  Lets see who will come out victorious at Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
