NBA Finals: Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks (Game 3- June 5, 2011)

Well… it is well into the 2nd Quarter right now with 3:20 left.  On Miami, Dwayne Wade has done most of the job to score for them, and Lebron James has 8.  However, Dirk Nowitzki has not done much in this first half, but I believe that he will make a comeback in the 2nd Quarter.

With about 2 minutes left, Miami is leading with 8 points.  I can tell you, this game is getting in a tight squeeze with not much room for error.  Every possession is crucial and must not be wasted.  Earlier in the 1st Quarter, King James impressively dunked while being defended by 3 defenders.

Statistics say that the third game victor will most likely win the series due to the momentum that has built up.  3.4 seconds left in the 2nd Quarter and the current score is Miami 47 and Dallas 41.  The series is tied 1-1 and the third game is an essential win for the victorious team.  Late in the 1st Quarter, Mario Chalmers scored an unbelievable last second three point shot that literally impressed everybody.

Halftime right now with Miami having 47 and leading by 5.  Wade currently has 19 points and 6 rebounds.  I think Miami has seriously improved since Game 2.  They have improved both their offense and defense dramatically since then and I think that Miami has acknowledged the seriousness and competitiveness.

Dallas has somewhat caught up in the 3rd Quarter only trailing by 6 points.  Jason Kidd as shot countless number of shots with a 53% of success.  I really hope that Miami can comfortably adjust with Dallas’s change in defense.  Miami’s offense is just too good with Dallas’s OK defense.  And their offense is essentially what led this team to be leading the game…so far.

Dirk Novitzki has just increased the score to 57-55 and then Marion tied the game evenly!!! WOW! Dallas really is a second half team, gaining offensive clutch.  I really want Miami to win, but their defense has to catch up a lot to match with the Maverick’s offense.  Although I want Miami Heat to take this victory and ultimately win the championship, I have to say that Dallas has a real good chance in beating them.

Dallas takes the lead by one point at 3 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter.  Now, Chalmers scores 3 pointer and leading the team by 5 points.  Terry countered Chalmer’s shot with another 3 point shot allowing Dallas to trail merely by 2 points.  Lebron James has 15 points so far with 7 rebounds.  I can tell you, the 4th Quarter will be jam packed with suspense as the game comes to a close.  end of the 3rd Quarter as the score is currently Miami 67, and Dallas 64.

Dirk Nowitzki form Dallas Mavericks

Wow… Dirk Nowitzki is a key player to Dallas’s victory at Game 2.  Without Dirk, Dallas would have had no real chance at beating Miami.

Nowitzki has an injured finger and is still able to consistently put down shots on Miami, that is what you call determination.  All throughout the game, he was with the team and believed the team, and this is essentially what brought Dallas to be victorious.

The climax of Game 2 was at the last ten seconds of the 4th Quarter.  Miami just scored a 3-pointer which evened out the score to 93.  The ball was passed to Dirk and Chris Bosh defended him.  Dirk EASILY went through Bosh and laid it up into the basket creating a two point lead with about 3 seconds left.  This was a very tight situation for Miami and Dwayne Wade attempted to win with the last shot, but it didn’t come through, leaving the Heat with a loss at Game 2.

It is apparent that without Dirk Nowitzki, the Dallas Mavericks would have had no real chance beating Lebron James and his squad.  To me, I don’t believe that Dallas really tried to win.  Dallas had a total of over 20 turnovers and most of which Miami used to their advantage by scoring from the turnover.  If Dallas would of played a tight defense, then  I don’t believe that Miami would even be a competition.

As for Miami Heat, it is an embarrassment to the team and their head coach.  Although they beat Dallas in Game 1 by a semi-large margin, they taught Dallas that they would have to put 5x more effort, and that is what they did, which lead them to the great victory.  Considering that Dallas will be playing home at Game 3, I look forward to the victor of this next game due to all the tension and the momentum that has arisen from both of these fantastic teams.

Game 3 will be held on Sunday at 8:00 at Dallas, which gives them the home-court advantage.  Lets see who will come out victorious at Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The Finals: Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks (Game 2 - June 2, 2011)

Ok.  This game was a TOTAL SHOCKER!!!! Miami lost by 2 points and the score was 95 to 93.  Everything was going bad and it was not looking good starting from the second quarter when half time was started and the score was tied.

I believe Dirk Nowitzki was Dallas's main guy that was punishing Miami.  The reason that this game is so shocking is because Miami could of beat Dallas if they really tried.  Miami's offense and defense were off and i bet that Miami's Head Coach, Erik Spoelstra, will be furious at their very poor game.

With four minutes left of the game, it was merely tied.  In the last 30 seconds, it was still tied and Dallas had possession.  Dirk was going inside and was disappointingly defended by Chris Bosh.  Dirk made an easy layup over Bosh and caused the score to be 95-97 with about 3 seconds left on the clock.

The Finals: Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks (Game 1- June 1, 2011)

Miami was sure to win this game.  In the end, they did end up winning.  All of the guys did a tremendous job working out there and scoring up points.

Lebron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade are the top three guys that led this team to victory.  Lets see if they can keep this up at Game 2 coming up on June 2.
